Hi! My name is Elina and I'm an aspiring author, travel writer, translator and poet from Finland - although where I might be at any given moment is anybody's guess.I write adult fantasy, horror, and even dabble into speculative and literary. Check out the About section for more fun facts and to find out about my ongoing projects!

I'm Elina, and I'm originally from Finland - which is one of the most interesting things about me, considering there are only like twelve people in Finland so you're not likely to see a lot of us traipsing about. Well, that, and the facts that my hair is always some shade of vivid crazy, that I have solo travelled on almost every continent (who's counting Antarctica, anyway?), and that my favourite hobby is Dungeons & Dragons. Playing or DMing, I'm just happy to play pretend.Maybe that's what drove me into writing. I was a kid with an overactive imagination and a tendency to zone out into some daydream world; and now I am an adult with a desperate need to make my life more magical through invention. Even though fantasy will always be my first love, horror nips right at its heels, and you can convince me to read almost anything as long as you tell me it's good. Fun fact about me: I never read blurbs before reading a book or watching a movie.I'm a cat person, my coffee order is iced latte (no sugar, double shot, Indonesian beans), and my favourite country is Spain. I'm also the blue-haired feminist conservatives warned you about, vehemently against AI, pro-Palestine - and will not tolerate any anti-LGBTQ+ sentiments. If you still feel an urgent craving to find out more about me, go click on the Contact tab and say hi on Instragram, or shoot me an e-mail!
